Sleep is incredibly important for the human body, only those who are rested, can in the long term also efficient stay and perform at their best. Sleep is needed so that the body and the brain can ideally recover and regenerate can. This is especially true for athletes, as the stresses placed on the body and nervous system by physical activity can be enormous. Not all sleep, however, provides the same level of recovery that Sleep quality plays a decisive role here. How deeply and quietly one sleeps contributes significantly to the Regeneration and determines how refreshed the body is the next morning. In view of this has GN the new Sleeper developed a supplement that relies on various ingredients, all of which have been shown in studies to be positively affects the sleep and recovery of the test subjects could act. The new Sleeper consists of two different active ingredient complexesOne is specifically aimed at improving sleep, the other provides a supply of various nutrients, which also have a calming effect exhibit. We will now go into more detail about all these active ingredients.

For this purpose, we will start with the "Sleeper Matrix", an active ingredient complex that contains a whole range of different active ingredients that have been associated with an improvement in sleep quality in test subjects from various studies. The first ingredient we would like to discuss in more detail is gamma-aminobutyric acid, better known as GABA. This ingredient has been popular in connection with sleep for some time and has been the subject of numerous studies. One of these studies showed, for example, that various parameters of sleep quality could be improved by GABA (1), while subjects in another study reported falling asleep faster after taking GABA (2). The next ingredient we want to take a closer look at is L-tryptophan, and again, this is an active ingredient that has been gaining popularity over the last few years. In 2022, a meta-analysis was published on L-tryptophan that looked at how the ingredient can affect sleep quality. The analysis considered 18 different articles and concluded that tryptophan supplementation may help improve switching quality similar to taking GABA (3). Glycine is another ingredient that GN Laboratories used in the new Sleeper. Glycine is an amino acid that acts as a neurotransmitter in the body and thus can affect the nervous system. In a study in which test subjects were asked to evaluate the quality of their sleep as well as its effectiveness after taking glycine, the active ingredient showed a significant improvement in both parameters for the test group. Glycine thus helped the test subjects to sleep better and more restfully (4). Valerian and ashwagandha are also important ingredients in the new Sleeper. Both ingredients are plant-based active ingredients whose potential for calming should be familiar to everyone. Valerian has also been associated with sleep-inducing effects in studies and, according to its own testimony, helped subjects fall asleep more easily (5,6). Ashwagandha is an active ingredient that is taking the supplement world by storm right now. When you look at the many benefits that taking it could bring to test subjects, it quickly becomes clear why this is so. A large number of scientific studies have confirmed the stress-regulating effect of ashwagandha (7,8,9) and the evidence regarding improved sleep quality continues to grow (10).

The second active ingredient matrix is the "Zinc-MA Matrix" as the name suggests, this is sometimes magnesium and zinc enriched with vitamin B6. All three of these active ingredients contribute in different ways to the maintenance of countless bodily functions and also have an effect on sleep. Magnesium, according to researchers, is a major contributor to recovery during sleep and improves sleep quality (14,15). Zinc also plays an important role in regeneration and recovery and is essential for over 300 vital enzymes (16,17). Vitamin B6 also contributes to recovery. For example, a 2022 study showed that vitamin B6 can complement the inhibitory effects of GABA and is involved in the body's own production of GABA (18).

By combining these two complexes of active ingredients, GN 's new Sleeper is a product whose ingredients have been shown to affect sleep in a variety of ways in test subjects. All ingredients were selected with the goal of bringing your recovery to the next level and thus promote optimal regeneration. As usual, GN relies exclusively on ingredients of the highest quality, so that the effect can unfold optimally and nothing stands in the way of an optimal performance.
