N.O. Synergy - the practical pump booster in capsule form

Citrulline, Arginine, Ornithine. These 3 amino acids are classically the main ingredients of conventional pump boosters. Their mode of action is based on the fact that they serve as substrates for the synthesis of nitric oxide (N.O.), which is better known under the abbreviation N.O..

Ornithine and citrulline are converted in various steps to arginine, which is then converted with the help of the enzyme N.O. synthase to the substance that ultimately leads to the dilatation of blood vessels and thus promotes the pump effect [1] [2].

However, the body already produces N.O. on its own during training to dilate the vessels and increase the blood supply to the muscles. Whether the body's own N.O. production or externally increased by citrulline, arginine and co., there are ways to get even more out of this metabolic pathway and thus drive the pump effect to new heights.

For this purpose, we have developed the N.O. Synergy has been developed. It can be used as a stand-alone pump booster in capsule form to optimize the body's own pump effect or in combination with our Citrulline Malate, Arginine HCL or the Shelter to literally make your muscles burst.

What exactly is in it?

L-Norvaline

L-norvaline in derivative of the essential amino acid L-valine. Research has observed that L-norvaline inhibits the enzyme arginase, which is responsible for degrading L-arginine in the body [3].

These studies have observed that inhibited arginine degradation can increase the level of arginine more, contributing to increased N.O. Production [3]. This in turn could further enhance the pump effect.

Pine bark extract

However, the arginine level raised by the L-Norvaline must first be converted to N.O. in order to contribute to increased blood flow. For this reason, we have used a pine bark extract that contains a whopping 95% proanthocyanidins.

On the one hand, researchers have observed that proanthocyanidins increase the activity of the enzyme N.O. synthase [4]. This enzyme is responsible for converting arginine into N.O. and could thus act synergistically with L-norvaline in terms of increased N.O. levels. In addition, studies suggest that the compound is also capable of inhibiting the degradation of N.O. itself, which could make it work longer [5].

Gymnema Sylvestre extract

Gymnema Sylvestre is a plant native to the Asian, African and Australian regions and is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine. Various studies indicate that the gymnemic acids contained in the leaves can have an effect on the pancreas [6], [7].

More specifically, it is thought to protect cells responsible for the secretion of insulin from pro-inflammatory cytokines that can occur when blood glucose levels are elevated, as well as having an enhancing effect on insulin secretion during carbohydrate intake [6], [7].

Increased insulin secretion could, on the one hand, contribute to the faster and more effective storage of carbohydrates in muscle cells. On the other hand, studies suggest that insulin could have an increasing effect on the release of N.O. from the epithelial cells of the blood vessels, which in turn would benefit the pump effect [8].

Since many ambitious bodybuilders aim for a high carbohydrate intake especially before, during and after training to support their training performance, we have used Gymnema Sylvestre with the intention to synergistically support this approach and to be able to exploit it for the pump.

But don't worry, if you don't eat carbohydrates before or during your workout, Gymnema Sylvestre won't cause you to secrete extra insulin.

Black pepper extract

Black pepper, or rather the piperine contained therein, is known to promote the bioavailability of various substances. Scientific studies indicate that piperine supports, among other things, the effect of proanthocyanidins from the pine bark extract and could thus contribute to an improved effect [9].

How to take the N.O. Synergy to take?

One serving of N.O. Synergy is equivalent to 2 capsules. These should be taken approximately 30 to 45 minutes before training. The N.O. Synergy is developed in such a way that it is already effective without additional supply of citrulline malate, arginine HCL or the Shelter. Therefore, it makes an excellent pump booster in capsule form that can be taken virtually anywhere and requires no further preparation. However, it is also designed with the intention to additionally support the effect of citrulline malate, arginine HCL or the Shelter.
